There’s so much to love about summer. Long days, endless sunshine (well, this year anyway!) and lunching alfresco. Not to mention, the more relaxed and happy vibe that the sunshine brings. We like our food here at Ogario London HQ and the abundance of summer fruits always makes us happy.
This summer we’ve been feasting on apricots and, oh my goodness, they are good! However, in our quest for shiny, healthy hair simply being delicious is not enough. No, we expect a lot from our summer fruits and it turns out that apricots do not disappoint.
Apricots are Packed with Good Stuff for Hair
For starters, they have plenty of vitamin A. Normal levels of vitamin A in the body are associated with better blood circulation and good circulation helps the scalp to produce healthy hair.
Apricots come loaded with vitamin C, which helps the body to absorb iron. Iron is essential for strong hair.
As if that weren’t enough, they have plenty of potassium which supports healthy hair growth.
So if you want to join us on the quest for shiny, healthy hair get some apricots.
And after we took this shot, we were marvelling at how they look like sunshine on a plate. We’ll be revisiting this photo in the dark days of winter to remind us of glorious sunny days!
For good hair health, we recommend a balanced diet with a mixture of fruit, vegetables, whole grains and proteins.
